Sage, Lola and Charlie - Week 5
I have two dogs that are called Lola and Sage. Sage is a Staffy and Lola is a labrador pit bull cross. Lola is from the SPCA. She was in a box on the side of the road with 12 other puppies. We brought Lola because our other dog Pearl died. Lola had mites .Mites are really really little bugs and they eat the skin off dogs and some times humans . She lost her fur so she was patchy but now she has grown her fur back . Lola's birthday is the 3rd of may. Sage was for sale. We brought Sage to bring Lola out of her shell. Now Lola is a big sister. Sage's birthday is October 24th.

Match Sticks - Week 3
This is my name Ruby. My name is one metre long. You could make it one metre long or you could you make it 20cm high. It has to have 50 match sticks. It was hard because my name has 4 letters and I had to make my letters bigger.
The learning in the activity was that you had to have a good starting point and a good finishing point. That you had to measure accurately and the number learning was that when we were finished we had to add how many colours there were. I will give you a hint, say if you had 10 yellows and on the piece of paper it said that the yellow cost $10, then this is the working out: 10 x 10=100.

Guinea Pigs - week one
Guinea pigs like to eat carrots, apple, parsley but the only thing they are not allowed to eat is rhubarb, they will die. Oranges and Mandarins help with their health.
Guinea pigs come in many colours, brown, black, tan and white. Some guinea pigs are long haired and some are short haired.
You can make a hutch or buy one. They like to have a clean bed or maggots will get in their bed and lay eggs. They eat the flesh of your pet.
Babies are born with fur, they have teeth and eat grass after four minutes. The mothers milk can protect the babies from mites. Guinea pigs come in many colours, brown, black, tan and white. Some guinea pigs are long haired and some are short haired.
